Why not just hire a Doctor?

It is a plain and simple fact that nurses are the primary caregivers. Med Legal Associates, believes that a thorough scrutinizing of all medical records will provide the information you need, such as changes in physiological and neurological status of the patient. In addition, an M.D. cannot speak on behalf of a nurse as it pertains to the nursing care given. Furthermore, Med Legal Assoc. is thoroughly knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures, and can assist you in deciding which cases are with or without merit.
 

I already have a paralegal on staff, why should I hire Med Legal Associates?

Furthermore, Med Legal will provide comprehensive detailed reports through the use of available medical records as it pertains to time chronology, as well as reports depicting the differentiation in standards of care as was given, or should have been given. Finally, we’ll provide a synopsis opinion of all relevant material.

Upon litigation, Med Legal will provide the necessary documentation, exhibits as necessary, as well as the appropriate questions and answers to assist the attorney in a successful winning outcome. What are the fees and what are the time estimates for services rendered?

Although work content is specific to each case, Med Legal Associates will provide estimates for work requested , and scheduled fees, prior to the commencement of performed work. Any deviations in the agreed upon time schedule will be discussed and mutually agreed to between the parties.

Additional expenses, such as, but not limited to, literature search fees, copyright fees, and document copying expenses will be charged to the client. Location and procurement of expert witnesses will be billed separately.
